Meet Megan
Megan Hixon is a luxury real estate agent in Truckee, Reno, and currently serves all of Lake Tahoe. She grew up in Dodge City, Kansas but moved to Long Beach, Ca, in 2001 before later relocating to Truckee in 2013. She has been working in real estate since 2004, and her career has flourished since then. Her specialties include working with first-time home buyers and the local community.
Megan’s start in real estate began with her father, a salesperson, who inspired her to give it a try. Before that, she had worked with disabled adults. Both prior careers gave her ample experience in working with people and understanding their needs and wants. She prides herself on being knowledgeable and communicative, ensuring her clients always feel heard and understood. Her attention to detail and responsiveness to client's needs often result in successful relationships that extend beyond the sale. Megan has also been honored with awards for her dedication and service to her clients, an ode to being in the business since 2004.
Outside of real estate, Megan loves to ski, bike, boat, paddleboard, snowmobile, hike, dirt bike, and travel. Spending time with family is also important to her, and she adores outdoor life and recreation.
